Modbus-to-DMX Interface
The Modbus-to-DMX interface allows a DMX512-based lighting system to be controlled via a Modbus Master, such as t-mac.
Applications include automatic setting of lighting scenes, banked light switching and other energy saving applications.
Each of the 512 lighting channels can be varied in brightness from 0% to 100% in 256 steps. The Modbus-RTU interface supports baud rates from 1200 to 115200, and slave IDs from 1 to 30. DMX output stream complies with the DMX512 specification for interoperability with all DMX512 equipment. Separate LEDs indicating Modbus and DMX traffic allow correct operation to be verified.
