Web Application Developer

Looking to expand its Web Applications Team for the t-mac system, the Company is seeking a skilled developer with solid experience in ASP.NET / C# development.

Role Overview

The role requires full lifecycle development from conceptual stages through to implementation and ongoing project updates. You will work closely with a talented team of web, PC and embedded developers, database designers and graphic designers, reporting to the department manager and senior management team.

Projects include developing client facing web-based software front ends for the t-mac energy and building management system as well as developing bespoke dashboard and software solutions to meet client requirements. Clients include FTSE 100 companies, Blue-chip companies and Government agencies/Local Authorities.

A key part of the role is staying up to date with new technology and self development using forums, technology feeds and internal team discussions. You must be self motivated and eager to design and develop advanced cutting edge solutions. You must have the ability to discuss technical ideas with your team and comfortably propose new approaches and technologies.

The company is committed to keeping up-to-date with latest technologies and developer tools. Including Windows 7 based development systems, Visual Studio 2008/2010, SQL Server 2005/2008, .NET 2/3/4 and IIS6/7. In return you must endeavour to advance your skills as a developer and be keen to try new technologies.

Required Qualifications/Experience

Proficient in developing reliable, scalable web applications with 2-3 years relevant experience with Microsoft technologies, including ASP.NET, C#, SQL Server and Visual Studio. Competent in developing client code targeting all modern browsers including Firefox, IE, Chrome, Opera and Safari using HTML, CSS, JavaScript and AJAX.
