Live Metering of Multi-Utilities
Gaining information from your mains meters as ‘live’ data is a more pro-active way to manage energy consumption as you are gaining information on your NOW rather than a day too late. For high energy consumers such as manufacturing sites, a day’s delay in knowing the site’s metering/energy consumption data is a day’s extra unnecessary cost.
Another benefit of knowing your metering consumption NOW, is transparency; being able to see, immediately, the result of a business’s energy reduction activities NOW. When gaining employee/stakeholder buy-in, they are interested in seeing the ‘fruits of their labour’ the benefits they have generated by an action.
