t-mac is the perfect way for you to maintain a complete up-to-date log of
the energy that you are using - whether you employ t-mac to monitor the level of electricity
being used, the amount of energy it takes for an individual piece of equipment
to turn out a specific product or service to you or your clientele, you can take
advantage of t-mac’s remote monitoring capabilities to check in, record data and
even make changes to environmental monitoring.

t-mac has three core functions
LOG
t-mac allows data to be collected, stored and then periodically uploaded via GPRS,
Ethernet or telephone line to a central internet server.
|
MONITOR
Users can view live and historic readings taken from t-mac over a secure web page.
t-mac also issues reports to the web and sends SMS or email updates to dedicated
personnel when pre-defined parameters have been breached.
|
CONTROL
t-mac can be fully programmed by a user to process a series of logical tasks. This
function is similar to Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) and allows t-mac to manage
complex process control applications.

The t-mac device allows remote metering and automation of machines and assets,
freeing personnel from the need to be on-site to turn a machine on or off or to
find out how a machine or asset is running. Staff can do this through any Internet
connection.
For remote process control requirements, t-mac can be pre-set to, for example, automatically
turn on air conditioning systems or remotely shut-down machinery should temperature
levels become critical.
Via the web-page users can also carry out remote diagnostics on the equipment, department
or site and maintain proper documentation for your records — t-mac acts as an accurate
live and historic data logger. t-mac also actions, through its built in logic controller
certain control applications.
The web-page also allows the user to change any of the settings on the unit, which
are in turn downloaded to the t-mac — this includes changing the name of the input,
alarm set points or event creating a new process control application. Multiple users
can also be configured with differing access levels, allowing clients to monitor
their data without worrying about important settings being changed or data being
lost.
While a data logging and reporting device is not a new concept, t-mac is. Its ability
to automatically and wirelessly transmit remotely monitored and controlled information
and allow users to access and easily analyse data via any Internet enabled PC at
any time is new, unique and innovative.
